We switched to WordPress. The reasoning is simply: Bitbucket hosts the repositories and simplifies repository management, provides a wiki and an issue tracker and in general supports collaborative development. Ohloh provides some – more or less – useful statistics about the sources in the repositories and about the repositories themselves and WordPress provides an content management system. Most likely, the requirements of many developer groups are met by those functionalities.
